In 1989 JMA Motors Ltd., the local dealers for Suzuki and Mitsubishi vehicles began exploring ways to expand in the auto industry. They decided to operate a car rental agency, and in August 1990 JMA Rentals Ltd. was born under the franchise name Budget Rent a Car of Belize. With small beginnings in a one room office, a fleet of six Suzuki Samurais, and only two staff members, Budget Rent a Car of Belize has grown since then. We now have two office locations, a much larger fleet consisting of five different vehicle types, and seven staff members, who always greet customers with a smile.
