Pesticides Control in Belize is governed by the Pesticides Control Act, Chapter 181B of the Laws of Belize, and its enabling regulations. The Pesticides Control Board is the statutory body responsible for the implementation of the provisions of the Pesticides Control Act.

Members of the Pesticides Control Board are appointed by the Minister of Agriculture and serve for a period of two years, representing all major sectors interested in the issue of pesticides and pesticides control, such as the Ministries of Agriculture, Health and the Environment, agricultural producers, Non-governmental organizations, and the pesticide industry.
